It is inspired by the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, who said “There is no way to happiness, Happiness is the way”. During the winter holidays, families gather at home and take refuge. All people, from all backgrounds, desire this experience of Home. But True Home can be found within ourselves in our everyday lives. Jesus spent his life on the run and as a wanderer. Siddhartha left his family and royalty to search for inner peace and true home. The Jews have a long history of being displaced and searching for a place to call home.
During the holiday season when we buy gifts and decorate our homes, this piece serves as a reminder that our true homes can be found within ourselves. For those not able to be home this holiday season, take deep breaths, listen to this piece of music, and find a sense of home within yourself. “There is no way home, Home is the way”
